URBAN OUTFITTERS shirt, denim shorts, silver pendant & cowboy boots | MISSGUIDED paisley kimono | BAIA orange leather bag
Bonjour, bonjour! Today's post is the first of a three part festival series with Urban Outfitters which, if you ask me, is one of the best places to go for festival-wear. I don't believe you should be pressured into festival 'fashion' or 'uniforms' to be honest; I think the beauty of festivals (which I'm sure I've mentioned before) is that you can literally wear whatever the hell you like, be that a fresh new outfit complete with accessories each day or the same pair of jeans for the whole weekend. It's all about the music, ey? So express yourself in whatever way you wish. Hence the reason my right breast is saying hanging out in half of these photos. Why the hell not. So yes, this is why Urban Outfitters are my favourite go-to for festivals; they cater to everyone, from the 'I'm going to go batshit crazy and wear sequins and a rainbow of colours' to the Kurt Cobain wannabe to the boho princess. I always tend to gravitate towards boho pieces... ultimately I'd like to achieve a festival look that falls in between Vanessa Hudgens and Kate Moss.
So yes, here we have two of my personal festival go-to's this year, the cowboy boot and the denim short. Pretty standard stuff. I've been on the hunt for a pair of denim shorts that don't reveal 80% of your bum cheek for the past few summers and I think I've finally found them in the form of these distressed badboys. I can't even talk about how much I love the boots; between the gold detailing on the toe and the western stitching it's just... yesyesyes.
SO, I hope you liked this first look - the other two will be coming atcha throughout the week (with no more breasts on show. Promise).

Also, I feel I should explain the second photo down... I got bored halfway through the photos, like I always do, so Rob told me to just get on with it and 'get my groove on'. I'm not one to disobey an order, and so I started dancing and whapping out some pretty strong moves. Rob let me do this for a good 30 seconds before telling me that there was a couple behind me trying to get past (who you can juuust see over my left shoulder). Painful, painful stuff.
