URBAN OUTFITTERS khaki parka, longline paisley shirt and black zip detail ankle boots* | Olivia Burton mink and white chrono watch* | Zara black quilted bag
Most of you will probably know how much of a coat fan I am - coats and watches actually, those are the two things that I seem to have no control over when it comes to buying. Which is weird now I come to think of it, because I'm always cold and I'm always late. Hmm. Anyway, today's post is the first in a three part collaboration with Urban Outfitters where I'm putting my coat obsession to good use to show you guys my top three picks from their outerwear section and, let me tell you, it was hard picking just three. My first look is based around the the classic parka, which you really can't go wrong with; they're perfect for throwing on on days when you can't be bothered, or on days when you want to give the impression that you can't be bothered but really took half an hour planning your outfit (don't worry, I wont tell anyone). The reason I love this one is because of how lightweight it is - normally parkas end up swallowing me because I'm so short and give the impression that I'm drowning in a sea of green, but because this one's a slimline fit it's much more flattering. Plus, it means there's plenty of room under there for a jumper or a hoodie (or both, if you're me). I paired it with this oversized paisley print shirt (which is one of my favourite things I've found clothes-wise in a long time) to continue the lazy-vibe and then completed the look with these chunky zip detail boots. So there we have it, look number I. Parts II and III will be coming your way soon (including THE most perfect camel coat out there)!
I've just noticed there's £30 off selected coats at the moment and this parka's included - get in there nowww people!
