Jumpsuit - As before | Cropped polo neck - New Look | Biker jacket - Oh My Love | Shoes - Dr Martens @ Bank
A recent study revealed that the average 18-24 year old spends £119 on a Christmas party outfit, so VoucherCodes challenged me to find a partywear piece that could be worn again throughout the year so as to get the most out of your money. I decided to use my £80 towards a jumpsuit (£45) and a collar necklace (£29.99) as I find it easier to boogie on down (let's quickly skim over the fact that I just used that phrase) in trousers than in a dress. The first outfit is my pardy outfit, then for my second outfit I added a white shirt underneath - I'm pretty sure you all saw that one coming - and changed into some flatforms for a more casual look. Things got even more casual for the third look; I popped a cropped jumper over the top, added some Doc Martens and finished it off with my trusty leather jacket. So, there we have it - one Christmas piece styled for three different occasions. Partywear's not just for Christmas people, it's for the whole year round.
And yes, I think I've used that line to finish a post with before, but it really drives a point home, doesn't it?
