Part 1 - One jumper, three ways to wear.

Jumper - Topshop // Dress - Topshop // Necklace - Zara Taylor // Boots - Topshop (similar here and here) // Fedora - Miss Selfridge

I've had a lot of girls e-mail me recently who want to start up their own blog but don't think they have enough clothes to do so. However, blogging isn't at all to do with how many clothes you have, and I'd hate for anyone - especially younger girls - to get the impression that you need a massive wardrobe before you can think about blogging. I'm lucky enough to be gifted some clothes, and unlucky enough to have wanted to spent every spare penny I have on clothes since I was fifteen, so do have quite a lot, but by no means do I wear a different thing every day. There's things in my wardrobe that I've had for years and years and still wear to death now, mixing and matching them with different things so I don't get bored. SO, we arrive at the point of this post. I've put together three different looks based around this jumper, so that hopefully those who you have these worries can see that blogging isn't about having an Alexa Chung sized wardrobe, it's about being inventive with what clothes you have, have fun with it!

The first look I put together's the one I'd be most likely to gravitate towards on a daily basis. Pop a jumper over a dress, add some jewellery, and hey presto - you're ready to go.

I'm really bad at reinventing my clothes, it's a skill I really wish I had! I tend to wear clothes in one way only, I don't think I'm creative enough to come up with other options haha! I'm going to start trying though :) hopefully your 3 posts will give me inspiration!

You look great! I love layering jumpers over dresses :) You made some good points too- creating new outfits with clothes you've had for ages is part of the fun of blogging! xxx

Well I can't say much about the blogging and the size of the closed, because I would have loved every single post of yours even if you wore only one outfit over and over. Seriously you could wear a plastic bag and I'll hardly notice. Well that's not quite true, (please don't show up with a plastic bag, I'm worried you could suffocate yourself or something..), I really like everything you wear, and most of all how you style it. And I really don't think you should have a massive closet in order to have a blog. I mean look at me :D Anyway it's time for me to shut up :)

I've had my eye on this Topshop dress for a while now. Iove how you have paired it with your grey jumper. Very cute x

Ohh you look a dream! Keep eyeing up that dress at work and now I want it more. You definitely don't need a never ending wardrobe to blog, although I do sometimes feel a bit samey when the same things make too many appearances. In my day to day wardrobe though, especially with having to wear Topshop to work 5 days a week, I do repeat the same things :)

Such a perfect outfit, and starting out blogging, knowing its difficult, it's nice to know bigger inspirational bloggers know how that feels and want to help! x

Such great advice! It's not about the quantity of the clothes you wear, but the quality of your pieces and the amount of times that you wear them! Love your jumper!

Oh this is a cute look, and I agree one of my favourite things about blogging is that I can show one garment in completely different outfits. I love being versatile

I recently just started a blog, and I was worried about not having enough clothes but decided 'what the heck' and did it anyway! Your jumper is really cute, but I just can't seem to perfect that jumper over dresses look! :)

Such a good idea for a post, that jumper is so cute! I also have A LOT of clothes (mostly because I'm ancient) but I do find myself gravitating towards the same key pieces. Perhaps it doesn't come off that way on my blog because I share it with Jade, but on my off days I'm wearing the same things again haha!

Its quite disheartning to know people think i order to blog you have to have endless clothes. This is a great idea showing how to wear one piece in different ways. I like the addition of the hat and lippy, really adds a touch of glam to the look.

What a fabulous idea for a post, I love how you've addressed a blogging misconception! I've been perving over this very dress in Topshop for days so it's great to see how you've styled it up.
