Hello friends! Wow it's been a while, huh? I'd planned a big dramatic entry back to blogging this Sunday - just kidding, it's actually a very mundane post I'm coming back with - but when I floated the idea of doing a wee Black Friday round up on here over on Instagram it seemed to go down well! So this is a return but not an official return... I'm saving my red carpet for the weekend.
I haven't actually bought too much this year, I've mainly been browsing for Christmas presents, BUT I did purchase a wee top up of my beloved Luminous Silk foundation (too good to miss at 30% off), this hair mask (when I asked for mask recommendations over on stories for straw hair this one was recommended roughly 3793 times so I have a feeling it may be good), a top-up of Olaplex No3 and a unitard for yoga (who saw that one coming? Not me). I'm also very, very tempted to pick up a Glossier hoodie as I've pretty much lived in their grey sweatshirt this year. Anywaaaay, I've been having a browse with a few cups of tea this morning and have found some grrrreat pieces, so here's a wee round-up of my favourites in case I've managed to stumble across something you've been desperately missing in your life, or something that you've been looking for for a gift! - 30% off sitewide at Armani Beauty. I'd recommend Luminous Silk Foundation (I wear shade 6), Luminous Silk Primer, Neo Nude foundation if you prefer something a little lighter and the Luminous Silk Concealer.
- 20% off everything at & Other Stories. Obviously they have many a great thing on site but my top top pick would be these ankle boots which have hands down been my most worn footwear this year (and, apart from some mud, they literally haven't shown any signs of wear at all)
- 30% off sitewide at Urban Decay. As you may well know from me banging on over on stories, my top pick would be the Stoned Vibes palette, which has 40% off today, an absolute ruddy beauty.
- Free People have 50% off a huge selection of items today only! There are so, so many amazing pieces in there, but if I had to pick my favourites, it'd be this long sleeve top (I have it in three colours and it's such a flattering shape. V soft material too), this coat (which you'll have seen me wear here) and this maxi (which you'll have seen me wear here and then the shorter version here)
- All Saints have 30% off everything which is verry exciting. I've never been disappointed with anything I've bought from there but, if I have to pick a stand-out, it'd be this leather jacket! I've had mine for about 5 years now and it's aged almost as well as Helen Mirren.
- Another whopper, Karen Millen have up to 70% off everything and you can get a further 10% off of that with the code 'EXTRA'. My top pick? Ooh.. any of the leather jackets above or this wee checked two piece.
- Topshop have up to 50% off everything! My top pick would be this checked set which I've been eyeing up meself and this lovely wee stripy hat.
- John Lewis, as expected, have an amazing Black Friday sale across everything from technology to beauty. Lots on the go but my top pick would be the Mulberry sale which has up to 50% off (hubba hubba)
- MyTheresa have a huuuuge sale on with everyone from Acne to Ganni to Jimmy Choo in there. Well worth a browse!
- Net-A-Porter have an incredibly good sale on with up to 50% off brands like Ganni, The Vampire's Wife, Re/Done and Joseph. Pour yourself a cup of tea and grab a biscuit for this one! I do have a real soft spot for this stripy jumper, these cropped trousers and this wee silky top.
- Sweaty Betty have 25% off everything (discount applied at checkout). Most of my exercise leggings are from Sweaty Betty, I've had them for about 3-4 years and they're still going strong with no sagging or sadness.
- Glossier have 25% off everything woop woop woop. I'd personally recommend their gloriously soft jumpers and Boy Brow!
- The Outnet have an extra 25% off their already 70% off reduced pieces with the code BLACK FRIDAY. This is another one I could totally lose myself in but I'd recommend Ganni, AlexaChung, Bella Freud and Chinti and Parker as a good start point. Ooh, and Joseph.
- SpaceNK (one of my all time favourite places for Christmas present shopping) has £25 off for every £100 spent.
- Mango have up to 50% off everything and boy is it good. I don't think I could actually pick a favourite (you'll notice a hefty amount on the list above is Mango). This black faux fur jacket does remind me a lot of this one that I know a lot of people were sad to have missed out on, though!
- Kiehl's have 25% off site wide. I swear by their Midnight Recovery Concentrate, I've used it for years now, and Rob's a big fan of the best-selling Ultra Facial Cream
- There's 20% off absolutely everything at H&M! Again, incredibly difficult to pick favourites as it's one of my favourites to shop, but I do really love this tartan skirt and this amazing sequin midi.
- ASOS has up to 70% off of absolutely everything today which, as you can imagine, covers a whole lot. I'd recommend these ankle boots (which I have and ruddy love), this absolute beauty of a midi dress and this wee cropped glitter cardi (which again I have and love).
