This... this my Dolce & Gabbana outfit. Except it's from Matalan and it cost £28 in total.

I'm so, so excited about this post! I know I say this all the time but, as well as just being an excitable guy, I really am proud of this one. We'd been wandering around for a while - too long, some would say - looking for somewhere to shoot and then finally stumbled across this beautiful little back street with tiled houses and flowers galore. It was like a mirage, my oasis in the desert, and then birds started singing and confetti fell from the sky. Oh no... that last bit didn't happen. Now, as well as this wonderful backdrop I would like to talk about the outfit. Wild idea, being a fashion blog, I know, but bear with me. The top is one of my favourite Matalan discoveries yet - as you'll know, gingham is very 'in' right now, but I like that this one offers a little break from the usual black and white combo in the form of a very holiday-ish coral and white. I'm not normally one to repeat outfits on holiday, not because I'm a diva, just because I end up bringing too much, but I wore this top again a couple of times (once with wee white denim shorts and a straw hat and once tucked in high waisted trousers FYI). What I will say is that it's only £14 and I think it might be one of their sell-out ones - I know a lot of you were sad last time when you missed out on this dreamer jumper - so, if you like it, get awn it. The trousers I also love, with their big bold print and their high-waistedness. Much like the pair in my last post, they're nice and loose and flowy so allow good ventilation as well as hiding paella babies. Ooh, and are a steal at £14. I went for flat shoes for my evening look, controversial, because we normally like to wander round after dinner and go to a few bars so comfort is key (the subtext here is that margharitas + cobbled streets + heels = not good).

Accessory-wise I went for these big gold earrings again (told you you'd have to prise them from me, didn't I) and these amazing, amazing sunglasses. I know it's a night look but the sun stays out till around 9pm and they're v badass so I didn't need much of an excuse to wear them. The shape and colour are so flattering and they kind of remind me of my Fendi pair except - wait for it - they're £6. All. Hail. Matalaaaaaan. I've also put together a little video lookbook/vlog from our time there so I've linked that below if you want to see it!
