Why hello there! What lovely weather we've been having huh (I apologise, being British prevents me from talking about anything else right now). These were shot last week on a sunny day in Edinburgh and feature one of my all time favourite jewellery brands. You guessed it... it's Thomas Sabo. You may remember this wee post I did for them last year and, if not, might still recognise the skull ring, 'together forever' little silver ring or hoop earrings that I wear almost daily. Aside from my big cray cray earrings, generally I like my jewellery to be quite simple and understated - I've just realised the skull ring fits neither of those labels; what a lady of contradictions I am - which is one of the reasons I love ole Thomas Sabo so much. Since I went down the silver route last time, today I decided to go for a bit of gold. I've always loved gold and silver equally, but I think I very possibly do lean towards gold during the summer months; it compliments summery outfits so well and looks mighty fine when paired with a tan.

The first piece I picked was the Glam Spirit watch. Now, it's been a while since I've worn a watch - I used to wear one every day and then I don't know what happened... I skipped a day and then just forgot and my wrist has been lonely ever since - so it felt good to be wearing one again. It's actually a man's design revisited with a smaller dial so it fits a female (or, if you're me, strangely childlike) wrist a little better, but still has the classic mesh strap and, of course, the pop of the blue dial. I chose blue because I loved how summery it looked paired with the gold, but it does come in other colour combos, so I'll let you check those out here if you're interested, the green and gold is another favourite combo of mine. What else is on my wrist? You guessed it, skulls. Even in the more delicate pieces I just had to slip them in there somehow. Thomas Sabo do the best skull jewellery in the land, and the little ones on my bracelet - that also feature on my earrings - are actually encrusted with baby (but very real) diamonds. Daaaaarling. I know. They do fall in the lower price bracket for diamond jewels but still leave you feeling excited that you're wearing real diamonds - and a little bit like P Diddy. Or is it Puff Daddy? Puff the Magic Dragon? I honestly don't know anymore - and would make a really special gift. I also paired it with some of their very simple, very lovely, gold stackable rings (which I could happily add 100 more of to my fingers) and this delicate little Hand of Fatima necklace. If you'd like to see the pieces closer up then give the links just under the photos a wee click so you can see them in all their detailed glory!

The dress is from a brand which I also love very much; Reformation. I don't know how they do it but they really do know how to knock out dress after beautiful dress. Lianne calls it my Pretty Woman dress and now I can't see it as anything but, so that's what it'll be known as from this point onwards. I'm so sorry if you now have Roy Orbison stuck in your head. Even more so if you didn't until I just said that.
