Thomas Sabo x The Little Magpie

The Little Magpie Thomas Sabo
All jewellery from Thomas Sabo

That's right, the brown is back! I was starting to pine for it again, so I went into the lovely Number659 last week and they mocha'd me up. But more on that later, because today I want to talk to you about the first jewellery range in a while that's gotten me excited. You know me when it comes to jewels, I wear the same simple pieces over and over again, so when I went on the Thomas Sabo website last month I was pleasantly surprised when I couldn't actually narrow down the long list of pieces I liked. It's been so long since that happened - almost as long as we've been waiting for One Direction to reform - hence my real excitement around today's post. I decided to put together two looks around the pieces I picked (to show off their versatility and all that), so let's get cracking with the first outfit. Behold, the blue suit:

So, here we've got some matching triangle hoops and dainty little triangle chain and two adorable little silver band rings, one of which is engraved with 'together forever'. Lovely innit? I didn't want to mention the c-word word so soon, but if anyone's looking for any Christmas gifts then this would make a lovely one for your partner (or jewellery-wearing dog). The hoops I really do love; you'll know yourselves how often I wear silver hoops, so I'm always on the lookout for new variations and these ones hit the spot with the little triangle detail. Plus they're not too heavy at all so you can get away with wearing them all day without your earlobe falling off. But the best thing of all is - wait for it - they have tiny little diamonds in them!

The second look features my absolute favourite piece (possibly ever) which is, you got it, the big badass skull ring. I've kept it no secret that I want to be Keith Richards, and so with this I become one step closer. Again, it's not too heavy so it's really nice to wear and doesn't weigh your hand down when you want to lift things or point at people. I didn't expect Thomas Sabo to be quite so 'rock n roll' if you like (you don't like do you? I can't pull that phrase off) and I think that's why I was so excited by them. Their range is so varied that there really is something for everyone in there; there's everything from silver to yellow to rose gold plated jewellery and it starts at rrreal afforable prices. You can go for a really simple, elegant look with just one or two of the daintier pieces or really go to town and layer up. I decided to do the latter for this second boho-look, so I kept on all the pieces from the first look and added the ring, of course, and a second necklace as well. The second necklace, the mother of pearl tiger tooth one, is another of my favourite pieces. It's so different to anything else I've seen out there and is a great one for layering being slightly longer in length. Plus it's thought to bring its wearer protection, courage and strength, and I can always do with a bit more of that. Especially when I'm trying to restrain myself from eating that fourth biscuit.

So there we have it! Let me know what your favourite look is, or you could even go really crazy and tell me what your favourite piece is. Hard, isn't it? Like I said, they've got a wonderful gift selection, so that's there ready to have a browse through when you start your festive shopping (even if it's just for a little gift for yourself for the Christmas party, I won't tell anyone)
