The Biker Portraits

If you've been reading my blog for a while now you'll know how big a fan of AllSaints I am, especially when it comes to their leather jackets - I'm yet to find a store that comes close to touching their vast, delicious range of buttery leathers. This was just one of the reasons I was over the moon to get involved in their Biker Portraits project, the second being that the whole project revolves around music as well. With musicians and bad-ass biker jackets being synonymous for so long it just makes so much SENSE. I chose the Alford biker jacket, which I think might be the most beautiful leather I've ever laid my eyes on; someone over on my Instagram appropriately deemed it, 'the dream jacket'. The leather's all crackled giving it a worn-in, well travelled look, but nice and stiff at the same time, allowing you to wear it in and mould it to your shape in the manner of a little leathery second skin. The sleeves also zip-off, so you can also wear the jacket as a leather gilet, or just with the zips peeking open to expose a little bit of shoulder (saucy) as you fancy - you really can't go wrong with a bit of multi-purpose jacket, can you?

I sat for ages trying to narrow mine down and ended up settling on Amy Winehouse on Paolo Nutini. Then I remembered how good Seasick Steve was live. It's all just too much, I honestly think it's one of the hardest questions ever.
