Return of the Flares

Flares! I used to wear them all the time in school and thought they were the coolest thing ever, before slowly drifting into the skinny jeans camp. I've had these for about two years (oopsie) but have just never really got round to wearing them so, finally, here we are. Rob absolutely hates them, 'Oh my God Amy, you look like something out of Orange is the New Black', but I really do love them; it's like being re-acquainted with an old, familiar friend. Just to spite him, I bought another pair (these ones here) this morning. Long. Live. Flares.

And my bag... oh my beautiful bag. It's been a bit of a god-send because it’s the only one I have that I can fit ALL my shit into. There’s poppers at either side as well so you can make it even bigger if you need, just in case you’re like me and want to take your kitchen sink with you. If you’re not familiar with Baia, they’re an independent company owned by the lovely Susy, who sell both custom and ready-made bags, so if you want to choose your own leather, hardware, strap length etc you can. It’s like the build-a-bear of the bag world! I have two now and can really, really vouch for them – they’re so well-made and come in the softest, butteriest leather you can imagine. A treat for the eyes AND the skin. And the nose actually, yum.
